Action
Waking up to an apocalyptic world is never the best thing to wake up to. Especially when she gets the nagging feeling that she's seen something like this before. The first day had not been too bad though; she'd just been wandering around town trying to look for friends or the Titans, or even her housemate, Sniper. She could worry about why this whole scene seemed familiar to her later. Right now, it was more important that she made sure everyone else was alright.
However with the coming of the second day people might see Tara running as she's being chased by three of the crazy cannibals. She's doing an alright job out-running them so far, but she has limits to her stamina. The small sack of things that she's managed to scavenge from around is also weighing her down; coupled with the fact that she hasn't eaten properly in nearly a whole day, it's more than a dead weight. The nagging feeling from yesterday has now manifested itself as a pounding headache too, and that's not helping her concentration.
She needs help, and fast.

Date: 2011-11-28 04:28 am (UTC)No, I'm fine, I just...I'm just having a headache, that's all. I haven't slept since yesterday.
(She gets up and pointedly looks anywhere but Beastboy.)
We should probably keep moving. Those creeps might still be around.

Date: 2011-11-28 04:38 am (UTC)...We'll find somewhere you can rest. I'll keep an eye out.

Date: 2011-11-28 04:49 am (UTC)I don't trust strangers, even if my friends're living with them.
[He'll reach down to help her up.]
I'm not going anywhere without you.

Date: 2011-11-28 04:58 am (UTC)I'm a Teen Titan.
We don't leave civilians to get eaten by cannibals. Doesn't matter who they are.

Date: 2011-12-01 02:00 am (UTC)(She yells that out loud, before she clamps her mouth. So much for being discreet. Eventually though, she takes her hand off her mouth and mutters back.)
You don't have your powers here. You could've gotten killed. And I don't want that to happen to you; not because of me.

Date: 2011-12-02 03:07 am (UTC)[Beast Boy turns away stiffly.]
If I have to get killed here, I'd rather it be doing my job as a hero. It just gets reset anyway, right?

Date: 2011-12-02 05:06 am (UTC)(She slumps against the broken wall.)
I shouldn't have yelled at you, I'm sorry. You were just doing your job.
That's what I heard, but...I don't know whether it's true or not.

If I've got an infinite number of lives, I can spend one making sure you're OK. C'mon. Let's get going.

Where are you going from here? Do you need a place to stay? My house has got a pretty good basement; my "dad" here in Mayfield has some friends who can make crazy robots. It's pretty safe.
